Mens’ footwear typically isn’t the most colorful or eye-catching subject for a fashion shoot. So when art directing this project, I worked with a stylist to create a vibrant and dynamic theme that would introduce color to the pages as well as compliment the shoes. At the same time, I didn’t want to create sets that would give an effeminate feeling. The India theme seemed to fit the bill perfectly as it created a decisively masculine look that manages to introduce the eye-popping showcases I had hoped for.
